The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and every NFL team are gearing up for their season openers. As expected, most teams are dealing with several injuries they hope will be resolved before their respective openers. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers know this all to well.
Outside linebacker Yaya Diaby has been out for over a month with an ankle sprain. Safety Jordan Whitehead has been dealing with a quad injury. Both players along with SirVocea Dennis, Kaevon Merriweather and Justin Skule returned to practice Monday.
“Quite a few Bucs practicing today that have been held out for a while — obviously Diaby, but safeties Jordan Whitehead and Kaevon Merriweather, linebacker SirVocea Dennis, tackle Justin Skule as well.”
Getting healthy at the right time is key in the NFL. As the saying goes, your best ability is your availability.
The Buccaneers kickoff their 2024 season Sunday September 8th at 4:25 against the Washington Commanders at home on Raymond James Stadium.
