The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are busy making roster moves in an effort to deal with a slew of injuries. Tuesday the team brought back a familiar face to fill on for injured long-snapper Evan Deckers.
“With long-snapper Evan Deckers sidelined with a hamstring injury, the Bucs are signing Zach Triner to their 53-man roster today. Triner was Tampa Bay’s snapper from 2019-23 before Deckers won the job this season.”
Zach Triner has been the Buccaneers long snapper for the last five seasons. He was an undrafted free agent out of Assumption University in 2015. He spent time with the New York Jets and Green Bay Packers before signing with the Bucs in 2019.
Evan Deckers is entering his second season in the league. He was signed by the Bucs after going undrafted in 2023 out of Duke.
