The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 33-16 on Sunday, but the win came at a price for the Pewter Pirates.
Linebacker SirVocea Dennis suffered a shoulder injury during the game and it sounds like he may be out for an extended period of time.
“SirVocea got pretty nicked up with his shoulder. Other than that and Trey, everybody else is just nicked up. They should be okay.” Bowles stated. Bowles was asked if Dennis’s was a short-term, or one week type injury, Bowles answered: “No, I think he hurt it pretty bad, so we’ll see how bad.”
With the team’s quick turnaround in playing in Atlanta this Thursday night the Bucs will need to address the shortage with Dennis’s absence. Bowles said the team is considering several options in doing so,
“We’re mulling that over right now. There’s a bunch of different directions we can go; we’ll see which one fits this game.”
