Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie defensive back Tykee Smith has cleared concussion protocol and will play Monday night against the Kansas City Chiefs.
“Bowles said Tykee Smith had cleared concussion protocol and will play Monday. Said Ben Bredeson will play as well despite being limited this week.”
Smith’s return is a huge boost for the Buccaneers secondary. The rookie from Georgia has been crucial in pass coverage and with his pass rushing skills for the Pewter Pirates. Add in his penchant for causing turnovers and making splash plays, the Bucs defense just got a little better.
