The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been dealing with injuries throughout the 2024 season. Week none of the NFL season is no different, but it just got a little better.
Head Coach Todd Bowles talked with the media Saturday and stated that linebacker Lavonte David and defensive back Antoine Winfield Jr will be “fine” and ready to play on Monday night against the Chiefs.
“Good news on injuries for Bucs — Bowles says Winfield and David will be fine for Monday. Evans and Gaines are ruled out but that’s it.”
David has been dealing with an ankle/chest injury combo, while Winfield Jr is still dealing with his foot injury from earlier in the season.
