The Tampa Bay Buccaneers can clinch their 4th straight NFC South Division with a win or tie vs the Saints on Sunday.
What a crazy day last Sunday was. The Bucs took care of the Panthers but then had to hope for a Falcons loss on Sunday night vs Washington. Things didn’t look good early as Atlanta took a 17-7 lead but thankfully Washington came back to win in OT. That set the stage for this weekends win and in scenario.
The Bucs are not just playing for the division title, they also have an important streak they want to extend as well. Mike Evans is 85 yards away from another 1000 yard season, which would be his 11th in a row.
Shaquille Barrett is also expected to be in the lineup which should give the Defense and home crowd a huge emotional boost. Oh, and don’t forget the lucky ducky too!

I wrote earlier about how Bowles has never had his team 3 games over .500 as HC of the Bucs. Well, with a win on Sunday another milestone will be reached. With each win, the Bowles “fire him” crowd grows quieter and quieter. Finish 10-7 with all those injuries and going 6-1 down the stretch? Not many teams can say that.
On paper, this is a mismatch. The most recent loss to the Cowboys should still be fresh in the minds of the players and is a good reminder of what can happen if they’re not focused.
There is absolutely no excuse for them to stumble at home with all that’s on the line. Plus, I’ll be traveling to Tampa for the playoff game a week later so let’s get those Championship t- shirts and hats ready!
