The NFL has set the Franchise Tags and Transition Tags values for the 2025 National Football League season.
Quarterbacks will once again have the highest franchise tag cost for the 2025 season, at $40,242,000. This represents a significant increase of $7.5 million from the previous year.
The NFL released its figures for franchise and transition tags on Friday, following Thursday’s announcement of a record-breaking 2025 salary cap of $279.2 million.
Following quarterbacks, the top franchise tag values are, Linebackers at $25,452,000, then Defensive Tackles at $25,123,100.
