The NFL offseason is in full swing Buccaneers fans. And with another offseason comes another attention wanting, engagement farming take by the Little Caesers of defensive ends, Cam Jordan.
That guy, Camilla, the one who used to wreak havoc on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is back with another shot at the Pewter Pirates.
Those days may be behind him now, but the sting of being passed over by Tampa Bay in the 2011 draft still lingers for Cam Jordan. Despite a storied career marked by an All-Pro nod and eight Pro Bowl appearances, Jordan’s recent play has been eclipsed by his vocal presence, with more trash talk coming from his mouth than tangible results on the field.

Jordan hasn’t held back in his criticism of the Buccaneers, a trend that’s continued throughout his Saints career. He’s publicly roasted former Bucs left tackle Donovan Smith and, more recently, predicted the team would sink back into mediocrity once Tom Brady retired, showing no signs of softening his stance towards his longtime rivals.
In a move that’s sure to ignite Buccaneers fans, Jordan has once again put himself in the crosshairs by appearing as a guest host on NFL Network and downplaying Tampa Bay’s recent dominance in the NFC South.
“Let’s be real. The Bucs have won the division the last three or four years. So until you knock off the king of the hill, that’s what you’re doing, you’re climbing a hill. But let’s just not say they’re running away with it. … They clearly won the NFC South last year, 10-7. The year before that, 9-8. The year before that, 8-9. Come on! It’s definitely attainable to go after,” Jordan stated via Nick Shook of NFL.com.
Sure, the Buccaneers may not have been unstoppable, but they’ve still managed to rack up four division titles in the last five years, including a Super Bowl win. Meanwhile, the Saints – and Jordan by extension – haven’t sniffed the playoffs in four years. And let’s not forget, when New Orleans did make a postseason push in 2020, they were handed a loss by none other than the eventual Super Bowl champions: the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The truth is, the Bucs’ success may not always be pretty, but it’s real – they’ve consistently found ways to reach their goals. Meanwhile, Jordan’s nostalgia for his glory days is overshadowed by the harsh reality of his current team, which is likely to be the cellar-dweller of the division heading into the 2025 season.
The BR Rub
“Better to Remain Silent and Be Thought a Fool than to Speak and Remove All Doubt.”
This quote from Abraham Lincoln defines Cammila perfectly. All that bluster and no jewelry to back it up. This is what a once serviceable defensive player has reduced himself too. A grown man talking smack and clowning for attention.
It makes sense that someone who has fallen off as much as Jordan has would resort to trolling. Like a cheap pizza that needs salt, Camilla needs attention. Enjoy it while it lasts, relish in that one last glow of the spotlight, because this is it pal. This is the twighlight of your career. Congratulations you did it, you had a successful professional football career. Now quit acting like a jealous 5th grader and walk off into the sunset like a man. A man with no ring.
