The 2025 NFL draft is in the books, and we are now just two weeks away from schedules being released for the 2025-26 season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are currently behind 10 teams, sitting at +2500 odds over at DraftKings to win the Super Bowl. The Bucs are behind six teams at +1300 odds to win the NFC, and they are the favourite to win the NFC South division at +100 odds.
The Bucs look like a lock to make the playoffs in a division with the New Orleans Saints, Carolina Panthers, and Atlanta Falcons, three teams projected to finish under .500 this season. If you are looking to place any NFL futures, or bet on the 2025-26 season, there are numerous betting offers for you to claim before you sign up and start placing wagers.
The challenge for head coach Todd Bowles will be getting past the Divisional Round of the playoffs, something they have failed to do since winning the Super Bowl in 2020-21. He managed to lead his squad to the Divisional round in 2021 and 2023 but fell short last season, losing to Rookie of the Year Jaden Daniels and the Washington Commanders in the Wild Card game by a field goal.

As far as betting trends go, the Buccaneers finished 10-7 last season with five wins coming at home and five on the road. They went 4-2 in divisional matchups and 8-4 in the Conference. In one possession games they were 3-5 and they were 1-2 in games decided by a field goal.
The Bucs were favourites in 10 of their 17 games and went 8-2 in those matchups. They were underdogs in seven games and won two of those contests. Against the spread, Tampa went 10-7 covering in eight wins and two losses. The over total was incredibly successful for Bucs bettors last year, hitting in 12 of their 17 games. In the playoffs against the Commanders, they were favoured on the money line and failed to cover a -3.0-point spread.
Baker Mayfield received two fifth-place MVP votes last season and ranks 10th at +2500 odds to win the awards this year. He is coming off a career high 108.6 passer rating regular season, ranking third in total passing yards (4500) and second in passing touchdowns (41). Mayfield also rushed for three touchdowns and 378 yards.

The Bucs have a stellar running game, highlighted by Bucky Irving who just finished sixth in offensive rookie of the year voting. Irving was a great return on investment for Tampa who selected him in the fourth round in last year’s draft. He ranks 22nd in offensive player of the year odds this season at +5000 after rushing for 8 touchdowns and 1122 yards. They also have Rachaad White, who contributes in both the rushing and receiving yards. White had three rushing touchdowns for 613 yards and six receiving touchdowns for 393 yards.
Mike Evans is more of a long shot for offensive player of the year at +10000, but he is still an incredibly effective receiver heading into his 12th NFL season. He ranked fourth in passing touchdowns last season (11), catching 74 passes for 1004 yards. The Bucs also have Chris Godwin at receiver, who only played in seven games after dislocating his ankle. Godwin is still a top receiver in the NFL and an excellent number two option for Mayfield who is capable of being a number one.
