Benjamin Morrison Update: Buccaneers CB Still Out with Hamstring Issue

0

Tampa Bay Buccaneers second-round rookie cornerback Benjamin Morrison suffered a hamstring injury in practice 27 days ago and still hasn’t rejoined the team on the field.

Despite being part of the team for their first game-week practice, Morrison remained on the sidelines with no clear return timeline, according to head coach Todd Bowles. While Bowles noted Morrison is “moving better,” he left the door open for the cornerback to potentially play on Sunday – a possibility that seems unlikely.

The official injury report will be released on Wednesday, and Bowles also hinted that safety Christian Izien’s oblique injury status remains uncertain.
