Buccaneers Cut 4 from IR with Settlement Agreements

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers cleared some roster space by releasing four players from injured reserve with settlement agreements. The players include center Jake Majors, defensive back Tyrek Funderburk, linebacker Antonio Grier, and offensive tackle Raiqwon O’Neal.

Tyrek Funderburk, 24, began his Buccaneers journey as an undrafted free agent from Appalachian State, impressively earning a spot on Tampa Bay’s active roster during his rookie season in 2024.

Funderburk’s promising rookie season was cut short when he landed on injured reserve early on. Despite that, he still managed to play in 13 games for the Bucs, contributing 14 tackles, one pass breakup, and a forced fumble.
