The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Houston Texans 20-19 on Monday Night Football. Unfortunately the team has lost one of it’s key defensive players for the season in the process.
Via NFL Insider Jordan Schultz,
“Sources: #Bucs DT Calijah Kancey will miss the rest of the season with a pectoral injury suffered on Monday night vs. the Texans.
The former first-round pick is a huge piece of Tampa’s defense.”
This is a huge blow to the team’s defense. Look for the Buccaneers to elevate someone from the Practice Squad or even sign a free agent to help soften the blow.
