The Tampa Bay Buccaneers recently worked out punters Ryan Stonehouse and Brad Robbins, as reported by Rick Stroud.
However, the team doesn’t plan to sign either of them right now. Instead, they’ll give current punter Riley Dixon more time to resolve his blocked punt issues, partly due to his $3 million guaranteed salary, which makes the team inclined to be patient and see if he can turn things around.
Ryan Stonehouse, 25, joined the Titans as an undrafted free agent from Colorado State in May 2022, making the active roster for his first three seasons. Tennessee didn’t re-sign him as a restricted free agent in 2025, and he then joined the Dolphins, but was released after preseason. Last season (2024), Stonehouse played all 17 games, averaging 50.6 yards per punt on 73 attempts with seven touchbacks.
