The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are on top of the world with a league leading 4-1 record. However, that record is in jeopardy as they enter the heart of their schedule. The week the Bucs will play host to the San Francisco 49ers who also enter this game with a 4-1 record.
Unfortunately it looks like they’ll do do without the services of wide receiver Chris Godwin.
Via ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler,
“Bucs WR Chris Godwin (fibula) is not expected to play Sunday vs. 49ers, per source.”
Godwin hasn’t practiced all week following the win over Seattle. Look for the Buccaneers to lean on rookies Emeka Egbuka and Tez Johnson with veteran Sterling Shepard against the 49ers.
