“Lots of returning players for Bucs. Mike Evans, Zyon McCollum, Benjamin Morrison, Mike Jordan are all practicing.”
Returning players:
Mike Evans: Expected back from a hamstring injury, Evans’ return is a major lift for QB Baker Mayfield and the Bucs’ passing game.
Zyon McCollum: The cornerback missed Week 6 with a thumb injury and is now practicing, bolstering Tampa Bay’s secondary.
Benjamin Morrison: The rookie defensive back has been out for a couple of weeks and is back in practice, adding depth to the Bucs’ defense.
Mike Jordan: Jordan’s return provides valuable depth and flexibility for the O-line.
Yet To Return:
Bucky Irving: Dealing with shoulder and foot injuries, Irving might miss another week or two, with Rachaad White stepping up in his absence.
Chris Godwin: Out with a fibula injury, Godwin’s return timeline is uncertain, but he’s expected back soon.
Emeka Egbuka: Questionable for the Lions game with hip and groin issues.
McCollum, in his 2025 season, has recorded 27 tackles, 4 assists, and 1 pass defended in 5 games started. Morrison, a second-round pick, has played 3 games with 5 tackles and 1 pass defended. Michael Jordan, elevated from the practice squad, provides valuable O-line depth, having been re-signed by the Buccaneers to futures contracts alongside 16 other practice squad players.
