The Tampa Bay Buccaneers got some good news Monday ahead of this week’s matchup with the New England Patriots.
The team has opened the practice window for Offensive Lineman Luke Goedeke.
Via the team’s communication department,
“The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today opened tackle Luke Goedeke’s 21-day practice window. He is eligible to be activated off of Injured Reserve at any time during the 21-day window.”
The Buccaneers have a slew of players on injured reserve, but luckily, some key contributors might be returning soon. While injuries have sidelined Calijah Kancey, Cody Mauch, Ko Kieft, and David Walker for the year, other players like Goedeke are poised to make a comeback. Wide receivers Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, and Jalen McMillan, along with running back Bucky Irving, are also inching closer to returning to the field. With a 6-2 record, the Buccaneers are tied for the best in the NFC and hold the second seed in the conference – a promising position heading into the stretch run.
