The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have struggled all season long to apply pressure on the quarterback. Monday, they made a move to help bolster their pass-rush by signing OLB Jason Pierre-Paul to their practice squad.
Unfortunately Pierre-Paul will not be ready to play Thursday night against the divisional rivals the Atlanta Falcons.
Via Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times,
“Jason Pierre-Paul will not play tonight against the Falcons. He joined the practice squad Monday. The team elevated defensive lineman Adam Gotsis and defensive back J.T. Gray from the practice squad to the active roster.”
