The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made a series of roster moves Wednesday ahead of the matchup with divisional rivals the Carolina Panthers.
Via the team’s communication department,
“The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today activated safety Rashad Wisdom from Injured Reserve and waived safety Kaevon Merriweather.”
Rashad Wisdom, was placed on Injured Reserve on September 30. He signed with the Bucs as an undrafted free agent in May 2024 and spent the 2024 season on the team’s practice squad. This season, Wisdom played in two games, primarily on special teams, and recorded three special teams tackles. A standout player at the University of Texas-San Antonio from 2019 to 2023, Wisdom appeared in 57 games, amassing 315 tackles, 14 passes defensed, five interceptions, five forced fumbles, 4.0 sacks, and two fumble recoveries. He wears No. 38 for the Buccaneers.
