The Buccaneers had a walk-through practice Tuesday, gearing up for Saturday’s big game against the NFC South-leading Carolina Panthers at home

Baker Mayfield was listed as a limited participant in Tuesday’s practice due to right shoulder and knee injuries.

Mayfield’s injury woes continue to pile up, with right shoulder and knee issues. Forcing him to participate at a limited capacity.

Baker Mayfield on Buccaneers’ injury reports on 2025, via Fox Sports’ Greg Auman:

“Week 3: foot/toe
Week 4: right biceps
Week 5: knee/right biceps
Week 8: knee
Week 10: knee/oblique
Week 11: illness
Week 13: left shoulder
Week 14: left shoulder
Week 15: left shoulder
Week 18: knee/right shoulder”

Mayfield started the season strong, throwing 16 touchdown passes and just two interceptions in the first nine games, helping the Buccaneers build a 6-3 record and take control of their division. However, over the past two months, Mayfield’s performance has dipped, with eight interceptions and nine touchdowns during that stretch.€

His completion percentage has also slipped to 62.8%, the lowest mark in three seasons with Tampa Bay. For the entire season, Mayfield has accumulated 3,490 passing yards, 25 touchdown passes, and 10 interceptions.

Mayfield has been a rock for the Buccaneers, not missing a single start in his three years with the team. Given his track record, there’s very little chance he’ll miss such an important game.
