The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a virtual meeting with New York Giants Interim Head Coach Mike Kafka on Tuesday, continuing their search for a new offensive coordinator. Kafka, who was the Giants’ offensive coordinator, took over as interim head coach after Brian Daboll was fired and led the team to a 2-5 record. He’s being considered for the Buccaneers’ OC position, and this is the fifth candidate they’ve interviewed since last Friday.

The Buccaneers have been on a roll, interviewing five candidates for the open offensive coordinator position since last Friday. The latest is Mike Kafka, joining previous interviewees former Tennessee Head Coach Brian Callahan, Detroit Passing Game Coordinator David Shaw, Arizona Quarterbacks Coach Israel Woolfork, and Atlanta Offensive Coordinator Zac Robinson. This search began after the team parted ways with Josh Grizzard on Thursday, amidst a coaching staff shake-up.
