He told USA Today that he will have the surgery on that date and plans to watch the upcoming Super Bowl from his hospital room.

The news broke through several NFL outlets. ProFootballTalk also reported the news, citing Arians’ appearance on the TODAY Show. Sportskeeda Pro Football added that the surgery would take place in Philadelphia.

Arians is preparing for the surgery, and his fans are rallying around him during this challenging time.

Arians concluded his three-year tenure as Buccaneers head coach with a 31-18 record (.633). That makes him the winningest coach in franchise history.
