The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are tendering Sean Tucker on a one-year deal as a restricted free agent, keeping him in Tampa Bay for 2026.
Via Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times,
“Bucs are tendering Sean Tucker on a one year deal as a restricted free agent.”
The low restricted free agent tender—$3.5 million for one year. That gives Tampa Bay the right to match any offer sheet he signs with another team, but no draft-pick compensation if they decline to match. With the tender, Tucker will become an unrestricted free agent in 2027.
Tucker was an undrafted free agent out of Syracuse in 2023.
Financials of the deal are not yet available. But the Bucs are able to get Tucker back for a fourth year.
