The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have waived wide receiver Jaden Smith, according to Greg Auman of Fox Sports.

“Bucs have waived receiver Jaden Smith, who spent his entire rookie season on injured reserve.”
Smith entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Nevada in 2025—meaning he was already facing long odds to stick on a 53-man roster. Tampa Bay likely viewed him as a camp body with some upside, someone who could compete for a back-end receiver or practice squad role if he flashed.
