Tampa Bay Needs Bain to Create Disruption
During his time at Miami, Bain established himself as one of college football’s most disruptive defenders. He helped lead the Hurricanes to the National Championship Game while consistently impacting opposing offenses.
The Buccaneers don’t need Bain to become David. They need him to become the best version of himself.
If Bain can consistently pressure quarterbacks, create negative plays, and defend the run at a high level, he can immediately change the complexion of Tampa Bay’s defense.
Impact defenders are not only measured by statistics. They are also judged by how much attention they demand from opposing offenses.
Bain Has the Opportunity to Lead the Next Era
Replacing a player like David is impossible for one individual. The Buccaneers will need several defenders to contribute as they transition into a new era.
However, every great defense needs cornerstone players who set the tone. Tampa Bay believes Bain has the talent, mentality, and work ethic needed to become one of those players.
Based on David’s comments, the Buccaneers may have found a future leader. Bain doesn’t have to replace a legend. He simply has to become the next great defender who helps define Tampa Bay’s defense.
