Humbled, surprised and honored. Just three of the many words that describes how I felt when I was informed that I was nominated by a Tampa weekly publication called Creative Loafing for columnist of the year for the writing that I do for Bucs Report.
I started writing for them a few years ago and I cannot thank them enough for giving me an outlet to do what I truly love to do which is comment on all things surrounding my favorite football team.
I try to write about how I feel, as a fan, about the team. It’s definitely not all positive but it is an honest article. I try to be as objective as possible which at times can be difficult and I’m sure some fans disagree but isn’t that the fun part about sports?
