Predicted Stat Line: Buccaneers LB Alex Anzalone vs Green Bay

0

Tampa Bay Linebacker Alex Anzalone enters Week Four as one of the Buccaneers’ most important defensive leaders.

The veteran linebacker has started all three games and recorded 20 tackles. He has also registered one sack through three weeks.

Anzalone has recorded at least seven tackles in two of Tampa Bay’s first three games. He will need another active performance against Green Bay.

Predicted Stat Line for Alex Anzalone vs Green Bay

– Tackles: 7-10
– Solo Tackles: 3-5
– Tackles For Loss: 1
– Sacks: 0-0.5
– QB Hits: 0-1
– Pass Deflections: 0-1
– Interceptions: 0
– Forced Fumbles: 0

Key Factors Influencing

Anzalone could see another significant workload against the Packers. Tampa Bay’s linebacker situation could make his role even more important.

SirVocea Dennis is questionable with a calf injury entering Sunday. That could leave Anzalone with additional responsibility.

Green Bay is also dealing with injuries along its offensive line. Aaron Banks and Jacob Monk have been ruled out.

That could create opportunities for Tampa Bay’s front seven to disrupt the Packers’ offense. Anzalone will have to remain disciplined against both the run and short passing game.

The veteran linebacker has already demonstrated his ability to find the football. His 20 tackles lead Tampa Bay’s linebackers through three games.

Final Stat Predictions

– Tackles: 9
– Solo Tackles: 4
– Tackles For Loss: 1
– Sacks: 0.5
– QB Hits: 1
– Pass Deflections: 0
– Interceptions: 0
– Forced Fumbles: 0

Anzalone has been consistently involved since joining Tampa Bay this offseason. He should remain heavily involved against a Packers offense that could test the middle of the defense.

With Dennis potentially limited, Anzalone’s communication and tackling will become even more important. I expect him to produce another strong tackle total.

Prediction: 9 tackles, four solo tackles, one tackle for loss, half a sack and one quarterback hit.
