Tampa is in desperate need of pass rushers, and everyone knows this fact as it was one of the things lacking in last year’s defense, and a major reason to why the secondary was abysmal. Thankfully, the upcoming draft is full of talented defensive linemen, capable of helping Tampa fill that pass rusher void and compliment our star DE Gerald McCoy. Whether or not, Tampa does decide to draft DL’s and DE’s, one name sticks out, and possibly has the Buccaneers eyes set on him, Noah Spence.
“Spence is one of the best edge rushers in the draft, and is arguably even a better prospect than Joey Bosa. He consistently shows explosiveness, competitiveness and the ability to bend around an offensive tackle and finish to the quarterback. Those last two traits are rare and what set him apart from many other prospects. They’re also what may have him come off the board before the Bucs even pick at number nine.” – Reported by Sander Philipse
