Elijah Shumate is working out for the Jets today, this is the second team(Raiders) he has tried out for since being waived by Tampa with an injury settlement. Shumate had signed with Tampa as an undrafted free agent for three years and a $1.62 million. Shumate was later waived with injury designation before clearing waivers and being placed on the injury reserve.
