Hill was signed as a undrafted free agent by the Houston Texans after this year’s draft. He started training camp with the Texans but was waived to make room for WR Devin Street. The Buccaneers picked up Hill and in order to make room for him, they had to waive WR Jhajuan Seales. Seales was waived with an injury designation.
Hill has kick return ability and is expected to make some big plays in the preseason.
Shaq Hill comes from Eastern Washington University where he played for 5 seasons and in 55 games. While there, he recorded 178 receptions for 2,818 yards, 32 touchdowns. He also returned 94 kicks for 2,280 and 2 touchdowns.
