The Tampa Bay Buccaneers played pretty much flawless football on Sunday. Aside from allowing 148 yards on the ground by 49ers running backs, the Buccaneers started with the lead and never lost it, winning the game 27-9.

QB Jameis Winston played mistake-free football, throwing for 312 yards and 2 TDs. After throwing 11 interceptions in 5 games this season, Jameis Winston performed well and recorded his first interception-free game of the year.

The Bucs defense ended two droughts on Sunday. The first drought was the longstanding streak of the Buccaneers not having a double-digit sacker, ended by Jason Pierre-Paul, and the second was the eight-game streak of the defense not recording an interception. Isaiah Johnson and Ryan Smith, both recorded one.
Cairo Santos attempted his first 2 FGs for the Buccaneers Sunday, making both of them. He was perfect on the day and also hit all three extra point attempts. That was a sight for sore eyes.

Buccaneers rookie defender Vita Vea played outstanding football, recording 4 tackles and his second sack of the season. Carl Nassib recorded a sack as well, bringing his total up to 5.5 on the season. Gerald McCoy also recorded a sack, bringing his total up to 6 on the year.

WR Mike Evans did not record a TD for himself. However, he did put up a whopping 116 yards on 8 catches, putting his fifth consecutive 1,000-yard season into the history books.

Now the Buccaneers turn their focus to the 6-5 division rival Carolina Panthers, who they will play in Raymond James Stadium next Sunday.
