The Buccaneers have confirmed that they will be donning their all-red Color Rush uniforms for a second week.
Heading into Sunday’s game against the Saints, the Bucs seem to want to keep the momentum going after their win against the Panthers last Sunday 24-17, the first game they’ve won wearing their all-red threads.
The all-red uniforms made their debut in 2015 when the Bucs played the Rams. They were one of eight teams to volunteer to participate in the trial run for Color Rush uniforms. They were also worn in 2016 against the Falcons and once again last year against the Patriots.
Considering the Color Rush uniforms were designed as a way to unite teams and fans, their choice to wear them for the second week in a row while they are on a winning streak makes sense and has fans on social media calling for Color Rush the remainder of the season and some saying they should make the all-red a permanent change altogether.
