Demarcus Christmas is a red shirt senior at Florida State. Christmas is projected to get picked in the third round by most experts and NFL analysts. This potential pickup is highly dependent on whether the Bucs decide to part ways with Gerald McCoy or if they can find a way to restructure his contract and keep him in Tampa. If the Buccaneers do decide to cut ties with the long-time Buc, Licht should consider the Seminole with Tampa Bay’s third-round pick. As of now, Demarcus Christmas seems to be a solid pick. Tampa Bay needs to bolster the defensive tackle position if McCoy’s days as a Buccaneer are numbered. He could even become a starter in his rookie season if things pan out the right way for him.
