Overview:

Gerald Willis is expected to get selected in the second round of the NFL draft by most analysts. If the Bucs decide to pick another defensive tackle, now that McCoy will most likely be a Buc in 2019, Willis should be very an interesting player for Licht and the Buccaneers to keep an eye on. Willis had a tough start to his college career. He started as a Gator for the University of Florida, where he was dismissed after reportedly being involved in several off-the field issues, including a fight with the team’s quarterback. In 2016, Willis transferred to Miami. He had an outstanding season in 2018. If Tampa Bay plans on selecting him, picking him in the third round would be a decent value pick.

Pros:

– Outstanding spin move to get around blockers
– Great athleticism
– Excellent interior rusher

Cons:

– Tall pad level
– Off the field issues a huge concern
