Recently signed DT Ndamukong Suh had his his first press conference as a Buccaneer.
Suh wasted no time in mentioning his desire to play in Todd Bowles defense.
Suh when asked about being brought in to take Gerald McCoy’s spot:
“I’m definitely not taking Gerald’s spot… I’m here to make my own path.”
Suh when asked about how much he has left in the tank,
“Physically I think I can play as long as I want to.”
Suh when asked what number he will wear:
“Hopefully #93”
Suh when asked if he still has that fire on his eye:
“If I’m on that football field, between those lines, there’s lots of fire.”
All in all it was pretty much what you would expect from an introductory press conference. The answers Suh gave were exactly what you want to hear, but words are just that, words. So to quote Ndamukong Suh himself, “Actions speak louder than words” & the “Proof is in the pudding”
