It is being reported by Greg Auman of The Athletic that Lavonte David is being held out of practice once again Monday. The reason being is focused around the apparent swelling in his knee. His injury is currently being re-evaluated.
I’m catching up on Bucs practice this morning. Among those held out: LB Lavonte David, CB Jamel Dean, OLB Anthony Nelson, OL Mike Liedtke. Caleb Benenoch is back after missing a few days.

Additionally, three other players are being held out of practice this morning. That list includes Jamel Dean, Anthony Nelson, and Mike Liedtke. The reason they are being held out of today’s practice is unclear. These three are fighting for playing time or roster spots. So every opportunity is crucial for them.
In better news, Caleb Benenoch did return to practice after missing some time last week.
*Update: Scotty Miller also apparently has tweaked his hamstring last week, and his status for the first preseason game is in doubt.
