During Friday night’s preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field, Buccaneers rookie kicker Matt Gay put toe to leather and broke a record. The 5th round draft pick out of Utah boomed a 55 yard field to set the stadium record in his first professional kick.
Fast forward to Sunday’s Buccaneers’ training camp and Gay’s foot was on display again.

No your eyes are not deceiving you, that was a 61 yard field goal. Gay also made kicks from 50, 55 and 59 yards.
The Buccaneers have had a devil of a time kicking recently, as of now that looks to be a thing of the past.
