The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have released Deone Bucannon (LB) per multiple sources.
The Buccaneers signed Bucannon back in May as a free agent. The abrupt move came just before the team left for London this morning. Bucannon will surely be signed somewhere very soon.
Bucannon was considered a hybrid safety/linebacker type that would excel in defensive coordinator Todd Bowles’ system. The reality is he spent most of his time as a Buccaneer playing special teams and being a reserve defender.
