Tampa Bay and New England Agree to Terms on Gronkowski Trade

The New England Patriots are trading tight end Rob Gronkowski and a seventh-round pick to Tampa Bay in exchange for a fourth-round pick, as reported by Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport.

Gronkowski will be reunited with quarterback Tom Brady in Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers will add a seventh-round pick to their 2020 draft class. Gronkowski has already completed a physical which points to the rumors being true. Adam Schefter has reported that Tampa Bay and New England have been in discussions about this trade for some time now.

What will happen to Gronkowski’s WWE contract is still to be determined. This trade happened quickly, which is something to look into.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are truly in win-now mode with the addition of Gronkowski. If this changes anything with the O.J. Howard rumors is still to be seen.
