Tom Brady Sends Out Cryptic Tweet Trying to Recruit Randy Moss

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady went on Twitter to discuss his greatest performance. Brady sent out a tweet where he was asked by Religion of Sports about what he thinks his best game was.

Within the Tweet, Brady posted a 48-second video examining his best performance. In his opinion, his best game was in 2007 against the Buffalo Bills. In that game, the Patriots scored 56 points and Brady threw four touchdown passes to former wide receiver, Randy Moss.

Brady also jokingly attempted to recruit Moss to the Buccaneers.

“Hey Randy, Bucs red would look good on you! Have a few snaps left?” Brady said.

Obviously Randy Moss isn’t available to play; his last appearance was in the Super Bowl with the San Francisco 49ers. However, the comments might be a subtle jab to get other wide receivers to Tampa Bay.

Since Brady’s arrival in Tampa, rumors have been circulating about the possibility of a reunion with Antonio Brown. Brown played one game with Brady early in the 2019 season. Although the Bucs front office, including head coach Bruce Arians, has stated this will not happen. Does Brady think he still has a chance of getting someone like Brown, or even Josh Gordon?

The reality of Brown or Gordon being a Buccaneer is slim. Although Brady’s influence has changed the Buccaneers in a brief time. Without Brady, Rob Gronkowski wouldn’t be in Tampa and private workouts would likely be absent.

Brady controls some narrative here in Tampa Bay. However, I don’t think he’s the player that will tell the front office what to do, even after all of his success.

I think this was all a joke between him and Moss to enjoy some nostalgia. Randy Moss is 43 years old, there’s no way he’s coming back. Brady was having some harmless fun.
