The NFL has had its hands full regarding COVID-19 and the ability to move forward with the 2020 season. Today it appears to have overcome one of the key hurdles in its way.

The NFL Players Association and the NFL have come to an agreement on the testing procedures. A PFT source with knowledge of this ongoing situation states that the NFL will conduct daily testing.
The NFL and NFLPA have agreed to testing protocols. Players will be tested daily for the first two weeks of training camps. After that, can be adjusted to every other day.

As Mark Maske of the Washington Post reported, the daily testing will last a minimum of two weeks. The players want testing to continue after the two weeks and pushed for daily testing.
The league will be on the hook for the cost of the testing, most likely the reason they don’t want it to last over two weeks.
