Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Antony Auclair has been placed on the short term injured reserve list. Auclair has been dealing with a calf injury all week.

Auclair didn’t see any snaps in Sunday’s loss to the New Orleans Saints. He will be eligible to return to the roster in three weeks. Unlike years prior, an unlimited amount of players can be placed on Injured reserve with the ability to return to the roster in as little as three weeks. His placement on injured reserve opens a spot on the roster for a player to be elevated from the practice squad, signed off another teams practice squad or possibly sign a free agent.
