The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 3-1 and sit atop the NFC South division. Following a 38-31 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers, the Buccaneers have a quick turnaround playing the Chicago Bears on Thursday night. Wednesday the team learned that Tom Brady had been named NFC Offensive Player of the Week.

Brady winning a player of the week award may pale in comparison to some of the other awards in his trophy case. That said, it does elude to how far he’s progressed with his new team from the week one loss to the Saints.
