It’s been a busy day for the Buccaneers. The team started the day bringing back Shaq Barrett on a four-year $72 million deal and now it appears they have come to terms with another core free agent. Per Adam Schefter the Buccaneers are re-signing tight end Rob Gronkowski to a one-year $10 million deal.

Bringing back Barrett and Gronkowski is a huge step in the teams quest to be the first team to win back-to-back championships since 2004.
Update:
The Buccaneers front office is again using the voidable years as per Greg Auman of The Athletic
Bucs are again using voidable years on the Gronkowski contract — it's a one-year deal with four voidable years, so his cap hit is $4.8 million — $4 million base salary, $4 million bonus pro-rated for cap over five seasons.
