The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have spent the better part of their existence looking for respect. That respect started to come as soon as they signed free agent quarterback Tom Brady. Then the team led by Brady went on to win the Super Bowl. The winning continued for Brady Saturday night when he won the ESPY for Athlete of the Year.

The Buccaneers started the season 7-5 and then went on a run, a championship run. Some may lay all of this success at the feet of Brady, rightfully so. But a team award, that speaks to the strength and foundation of the entire organization.
