The cut downs continue for the Buccaneers. Two linebackers have been released by the team.
According to Greg Auman, the Buccaneers have released veteran linebacker Joe Jones from the squad. This may be a good sign for Grant Stuart. Stuart is known as “Mr. Irrelevant“ since he was the final player chosen in this year‘s NFL draft.
Bucs are releasing veteran inside linebacker Joe Jones, a former Bronco who was battling for last backup job. Helps the odds for rookie Grant Stuard, though Bucs could also just keep only four ILBs on the 53.

Stuart has had a surprising impact and has shown promise throughout this preseason. He has become a fan favorite with his long, wild hair.
