The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are coming off a closer than the score would indicate game against the Atlanta Falcons. Shortly before the game reports came out that the Buccaneers had reached out to veteran defensive back Richard Sherman. Monday, that report gained more legs.
Full quote from Arians on Richard Sherman: "Jason's reached out. We've got to see. He's got other things going on, too. Just a matter of I coach the ones we've got and let (Licht) handle the rest of that. We'll kick the tires on some other guys, too."

Sherman is a free agent, albeit one with some baggage. We asked in a previous article if Sherman was a fit for this team and it’s scheme. Apparently that’s not an issue for head coach Bruce Arians.
The Bucs are very thin in the defensive backfield, so relief of some kind needs to happen sooner than later.
