Leading up to the Buccaneers’ game against the Bears, it was unclear if outside linebacker Jason Pierre-Paul would play. Pierre-Paul ended up playing recording two sacks and a forced fumble to help the team win 38-3.
Once the game was over, Pierre-Paul spoke with the media. He stated that not only did he play with a fractured finger, but he also a torn rotator cuff. It easily explained Pierre-Paul’s absence from practice last week. To those who don’t know Pierre-Paul it really isn’t a miracle that he was on the field at all.

The performance earned the respect of head coach Bruce Arians, who called Pierre-Paul a “warrior.” Wide receiver Chris Godwin, Pierre-Paul’s teammate since 2018, claimed that he was “a different breed.”
The three-time Pro Bowler will look to continue his dominance next week, when Tampa Bay heads to New Orleans for what should be an exciting divisional battle.
