Fells is a former Detroit Lion and looks to be elevated to the 53-man before this Sunday’s game against the Washington Football Team if tight end Rob Gronkowski isn’t ready to go.
To make room for new receiver Breshad Perriman on practice squad, Bucs have released receiver John Hurst. Still also have Cyril Grayson and Jaydon Mickens as receivers on PS.

In a corresponding move, the Buccaneers have released wide receiver John Hurst from their practice squad.
