The Tampa Bay Buccaneers received the opening kickoff and systematically drove the ball down the field. Quarterback Tom Brady went 5 for 5 on the drive as the Bucs opened the scoring.

Using a combination of wide receiver reverses and quick throws the Bucs capped off the drive with a 13 yard touchdown strike from Tom Brady to Chris Godwin.

With the game now tied at ten and near the end of the 2nd quarter, the Buccaneers drove down the field and capped this drive off with a six yard touchdown run by Ronald Jones.

The Buccaneers lead at the half 17-10, a score closer than some thought. Coming out of the half, the Giants drive stalled and the Bucs drove back down the field. Once in the red zone the Bucs were quick to strike. Quarterback Tom Brady threw a lazerbeam to Mike Evans. The Bucs extend their lead to 24-10.

Following a Buccaneers interception by defensive lineman Steve McLendon, the Bucs to take advantage of the field position and settled for the field goal, 27-10 Bucs.

The Buccaneers added another field goal to increase their lead to 30-10.
