Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network is reporting that the Las Vegas Raiders have requested permission to interview Buccaneers Vice President of Player Personnel John Spytek for their general manager position.

Las Vegas head coach Jon Gruden resigned mid-season and the team recently fired general manager Mike Mayock.
Spytek has been with the Bucs for six seasons and is considered one of the architects of their Super Bowl championship roster. This is the fifth candidate interviewed by the Raiders for their general manager position. The Raiders have also requested to interview Buccaneers defensive coordinator Todd Bowles for their head coaching position.
